take a breath.  press on.  
face the world with an iron-clad
compassion and sharp wit;
you've survived tougher.
I'm fighting off a terrible cough and today I got some new cough drops (Halls) and for some reason they have short inspirational quotes on them?  And for some reason that inspired me to write a poem, so... thanks Halls, for your random quotes uvu  (the only line that was from the cough drop is "you've survived tougher")

 I love this sort of found poetry! I also smiled because the theme seems half satirical and half serious ... and had I written this, that'd have been my exact intention. Very good, and feel better!
