But at the same time
Hardly any at all
He feels my pain
Without truly knowing a thing
And is that ghost of a voice there for comfort
Both of us awkward
Both of us imperfect
How could we not become fast friends?
We haven't met for "real" some may argue
But they don't know our friendship
They don't know us
When I'm off doing stupid things
He's there to tell me
Just how amazingly stupid they truly are
I know it's early
But will the boy who tolerates me chasing a dream
Be my Valentine this year?
